X2^^ I used por 15 on everything and then top coated my frame with Por 15 Chassis black which is glossy as well. Turned out nice. I applied mine to all flat areas with a 6" smooth mini roller to keep from having uneveness with a foam brush. It self levels to some extent. The pictures really don't show how well it does turn out.I'm interested in using either POR-15 Blackcoat or Chassis Coat Black for my underhood components, but I don't want to spend $26 a pint on something that I can't confirm is close to factory-original. I took on some 'vette suspension parts to sandblast. My question is this: The product sheet gives directions for applying chassis black over a fully cured POR15 base coat by sanding the base coat then applying the Chassis black.
