Take a tiny bit and dissolve it in some vinegar in a tiny dish. Then once it's pretty mixed up throw some pennies in the solution. If the pennies start having little blue specs show up after 10-20 minutes it means that there is sulfer in your wax. I've had it before and had the same qualities that your talking about.

I don’t think that’s why people use sulphur. In fact, it’s almost the opposite. People like to use sulphur because it’s organic and far less harsh than other fungicides such as Eagle 20. But people also associate organic with safe, and that’s clearly not always the case.

If it smells and taste like farts it may have some sulfer in it. Sulfer is a pesticide that is legal and is sometimes used too soon before harvest. It's not good if you are dabbing. Don't smoke it, you can melt it into some butter and make edibles so it's not a total loss.
