Back before the respective planet was vaulted I only played hunter and was in the same situation. On a side note, these armor pieces from Legend DoE do typically roll with high-stat rolls. I've had some real juicers drop from the final chest. Ekuegan has a video showing some examples of the high-stat armor that drops at the final chest on legend.
