The way merit works at Pitt is that a scholarship committee starts reviewing all accepted applications starting on October 1. I think they may meet on Tuesdays each week. Every week after that date, they will send out merit offers to a subset of admitted students. Those admitted students who do not receive merit offers are thrown back into consideration for the following week. Dec 18, 2023 · At first we think Pitt is affordable by looking at past tuition rate. However, look at new tuition rate, it seems a bit pricy comparing to other OOS schools that S24 got admitted. The reason we fell in love with Pitt after visit is the medical resources and school size. Also the city size of Pittsburgh is just right.

Great info you got here. We are disappointed as my S24 is totally set for DPT and Pitt. Not sure if they maintain waitlist for that. I guess many high stats applicants treat Pitt as backup no matter they get GAP or not. Also maintaining 3.5 GPA is pretty challenging as well. I know some program only requires 3.0 or so. Even not accepted in GAP, I think overall Pitt is still very strong in ...Excellent recommendations around campus!
