I have owned a gen3 30sf and the 30s at the same time. I sold off the 30sf and still have an carry the 30s. I can't tell much difference if really any in recoil or accuracy. The frame on the 30SF and 30S are the same. The 30S uses the Glock 36 slide on the 30SF frame. If you are getting it to use as a range toy then get the 30SF. The heavier slide makes it more comfortable to shoot. If you are getting it to carry get the 30S. The slide is lighter, thinner and much easier to carry.
