May 1, 2020 · John Deere LX280 - Won't move. My LX280 just stopped moving. The drive belt is in place and around all the pullies. The pedals are spongy when you press them. I took the body cover and gas tank off so I could see inside, and when you depress the pedal the linkages move but the belt never tightens. Suggestions and ideas are appreciated.
