I am trying to figure out the year. The serial number is 10092766 which by using the code would make this a 1990 produced gun but it is JM stamped on the left side of the barrel. When did Marlin stop stamping the barrel? I have a 1965 444 and a 1966 39A and both are stamped on the right side of the barrel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. jk
