If you have a charger, hook it up to the battery and turn it on and try to start it again. If it starts, you still have a weak battery. Line up the cam gear with the xrank pin pointing toward the top of the cylinder. Then pull rhe 14 mm bolt on the top of the stator housing. You should see a timing mark on the stator. If you dont turn the cam gear one more revolution. If you dont see the timing mark on either position.

You have to find out when your spark plug is firing if it is firing when its top dead center magneto key should be fine but if not firing top dead center you have problem.
