I read a lot of folks getting in the 40's but never did anyone on the Benz forums claim such. My experience was 22-24 mpg on diesel and WVO with no discernible difference in power between the two. LOTS of cutting and fitting but maybe it's an easier fit in a Ranger. The exhaust is pretty simple - just a pipe out of the engine bay. The first section of the Mercedes pipe will make the exhaust work easier. Any radiator for a 5.0/Ranger swap should handle the cooling. Diesels are not generally hard to cool.
