I did a month-long derm rotation(am a EM resident) during Covid and saw a lot of telemedicine and the idea of doing a telemedicine only practice in Derm seems like taking all the worst parts of Derm and doing that all day long. .

I'm getting ready to submit to ERAS and I'm planning how to assign my letter of recs. I was wondering how important it was to actually submit a chair…yup home program that had ranked me highly but we had a shit ton of home applicants compared to normal so they barely fell on their list. I got kinda bad advice from them though for the cycle so I am not sure how much to trust them saying my class rank is fine

I did my home derm and 2 home sub-I's before ERAS. Aways after. Because that's how the schedule panned out. I didn't need letters from aways, so was okay with doing them after ERAS if needed. Wanted a fourth year medicine letter for my prelim apps, so did my required medicine sub-I before ERAS.
