I have a 1st generation Carta that I've had for 5 years and I used to use it daily. I hadn't touched it in a little over a year then used it again twice to test it and it functioned perfectly. Then I gifted it to my brother and after he cleaned it, it will charge all the way to full but when we take it off the charger it won't turn on.
