That being said, I'm extremely confident those are gone, as the average dealer had a wait list of atleast 5 people (So avg 1-3 allocations at start, then 1 ... I am currently at the "top of the list" at a large dealership in Dallas for a GT4, the dealer has not gotten an allocation for a GT4 in months but today the sales rep I've been working with called, and offered me a "factory" selected specs (I have attached the built sheet), says once in a while their dealership will get some of those.A lot of dealers have stopped taking deposits for new orders on GT4 because their reservation lists are already 18-24 months worth of production. Meanwhile, Porsche announced a short production hiatus of a few weeks beginning in March but based on production dates that didn't seem to actually happen. Hello Planet 9! New here but am looking to finally make my dream come true and purchase a Cayman GT4. I have inquired about acquiring an allocation from a few Premiere Porsche Dealerships in the Los Angeles area. I've heard so many different things from so many different dealers that it's hard to take any one of them seriously.

Then they will sell the next GT4 allocation to someone else who is willing to pay to play (and as the stock market goes, there are plenty of those people out there) this is increasingly the situation here in DC also, over the past few months. it's supply and demand. 718 GT4 for $130k is a steal. Objectively speaking, yes, you should buy it. Ultimately only you could make the decision though. I dont daily this car. I bought GT4 in 2016 and did a cross-country trip from Indiana to San Francisco back and Key West round trip and New York City round trip thru Watkins Glen all in 2021. Rack up 15000miles. While I was driving, I didn't listen a single song at all. Car was comfortable and so fun to drive.

Lots of people daily GT4's but the GTS will be a little less extreme and have more ground clearance. And you won't have to try to look around that wing to see if there are cars behind you. That's good news re GT4 . There was a flat period where orders were down on the GT4 hence a few getting one with no history and a few opcs ordered a few for stock with their life cycle coming to a end you'd be lucky to get one now off the cuff .
