All it really needs is a noise reduction, hopefully they could do it in a software fix, from the current 85 decibels or so, down to the required 52 decibels. Jul 17, 2022 · Hello Matt, I too found that backup beeping annoying. Yes, I know its there for safety reasons. So, pop the hood and open the fuse box on your right. Halfway down, second fuse from the right is the VESS 10 amp fuse (look on the back of the fuse box lid). Use the provided fuse puller and remove and save that fuse. I'm trying to figure out how to turn off the reverse beeping on a 2022 Tucson Hybrid that I just bought. Absolutely love the car, the only thing that needs attention is the beeping noise. I looked at the fuses and they ended up combining the beeping or vess system with other safety features.
