CM2000 - has never had firmware support for mid-split speeds. There has been nno communication from Netgear on whether it wil eventually support mid-split (which requires certification). So on to the CM300 operation - after a day and a half of using the Netgear CM3000.Looking at the specs for the CM3000 vs the CM2000, there is no valid reason for the CM2000 to not support the faster upload speeds. I'm deciding between the Motorola and the NETGEAR CM2000 because they are the most similar. Motorola is the cheapest out of the 3 at $169, CM2000 is the most expensive at $299 (over priced) To be fair, the CM2000 does have issues as well.

are you having problems that cause you to look? you could clear the logs. then watch what accumulates. the upstream ISP modem (CMTS) instructs our modems to drive upstream channels' power. our modems (CM) have no way to detect and tune what the CMTS ultimately sees after losses on the cable.Ask your ISP about turning down the power a bit and have them check the signal on the line. Check the cabling from there box to the modem. Remove any splitters and make sure the coax connections are connected well and snug.
