So, as the title says, I'm trying to roll up a Warpriest shieldbearer, because I love the idea of bashing things in the face with a shield. The thing is, I'm a little confused how this is supposed to work. You're obviously meant to be bashing things with your shield- it's the whole point of the subclass- but trying to do that requires a pretty heavy investment in DEX for 2-weapon fighting.
