Then you can just play normal if you want. But imo just play Legend. Both take relatively same amount of time and in Legend you always know what enemies ...

To get the catalyst quest from Xur you need to hit vendor rank 16 with him, which you get by playing Dares of Eternity. Nothing else is required, just playing the game mode. Once you have the quest, one of the steps is to get a score of 225k or higher in a single run of Dares. As a lot of people already know, the Dares of Eternity on the Legend mode is a great place to farm high stat armor. I think it may be the best place to farm high stat armor with exception to Master VOG with Spoils. I have run Legend Dares about 50 times in the last week and have gotten a TON of high stat (65+) armor.Just do the legend dares pinnacle each week, it's guaranteed to give you a red border for a pattern you don't have (The Other Half excluded) . Do the highest tier starhorse bounty while you do for extra hauls, which can give you treasure keys for more drops.
