I think people should start doing corrupted gauntlet as soon as they can get preparation done in 7:30 and can kill hunllef with halberd comfortably, because the reward increase vastly outweighs the difficulty increase. For question 1, I think that it's a pretty acceptable change, as long as they stick to excluding it from Corrupted Gauntlet.
