I went with the Vickers tactical magazine catch (extended) on my Dagger Compact. Much less stiffness making it easier to drop a magazine. I bought the 2,5lb springs, but did not feel the need to use them as the new Vickers catch worked fine with the PSA factory spring. This was a good upgrade.

At SHOT 2022 today, PSA had twp of the 5.7s available for handling. They will be offering the 5.7 Rock both with and without an optics cut. Both models will come from the factory with a 23-round magazine, and are expected to release within the next 60 days. The 5.7 Rock is surprisingly comfortable to hold, but perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised.

This is a common issue. I picked up an extended release from AIM Surplus when I bought my new trigger for the same gun. That solved my issue with the mag release. It was the AIM Surplus-brand part, costing $5 and used the same spring and everything. I measured the mag release spring with a micrometer and it was .0505.

Jul 6, 2023 · Just replaced the stock Dagger mag release with a Glock OEM extended release that I got from Brownells. Now, when inserting a mag, the mag gets hung up and stops about once in every three insertion attempts. I can see that the 1981 Glock release moves a bit too far into the frame, leaving a small overhang/shelf inside on the right hand side of the mag cavity. It is a Glock OEM G17 mag that ...
