Very simply, the AC has 2 circuits. Circuit #1 operates the AC relay. Circuit #2 operate the clutch. Circuit #1, place your finger on the relay as someone turn the AC button on and off. If you feel the relay operate that circuit is ok Circuit #2, the relay contacts close a circuit to the AC clutch coil. If circuit 1 seems ok, look at #2.
