Router worked fine, was able to see everything in the app, but the dish was constantly in offline/booting mode as well as rebooting at least every 5-ish ...
1. (what I'd consider the best) is to run an ethernet wire between the 2 and use a mesh system so the satellite is in the garage and hardwired in. 2. If you get full service in the window, you could use a mesh system and put a satellite in that window to use. 3. you could try putting a wireless extender in the window of the garage.
