The long nose conventionals and cabovers retained their 1949 styling. The D860 was a very popular fleet tractor, and remained in production until 1962.

This truck was purchased new by Anthony Palombizio who owned A&A Garage on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington, Connecticut. This was his pride and joy and he enjoyed every second behind the wheel of it.
